Dr. Emad uddin Siddiqui


Dr. Emaduddin Siddiqui graduated from Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi. He did Residency in Pediatric and had FCPS, MCPS and also did DCH. He joined ED of Aga Khan Hospital as junior faculty in 2005 and uptil now has with more than 14 years of PEM experience, currently working as Associate Professor. During this time he went to Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto Canada to complete his fellowship training at Sickkids (2011-12).

He has led the PEM section of ED and also has been the Residency coordinator for more than 5 years. He has introduced first ever PEM Fellow training Program in Pakistan and leading it as Program Director. 

As Simulation course director working in collaboration with other AKU departments conducted multiple clinical, academic and teaching modules for local, national and International students.

He is the first supervisor and examiner of CPSP for EM, certified for PALS, ACLS (Instructor), NRP, ATLS, ALSO, APLS and APTLS.  

He is the first Vice President of Pakistan Society of Emergency Medicine (PSEM) elected in 2018.

He has produced approx. 50 publications the Co-PI of first international double blinded RCT internationally funded study and reviewer of peer review journals.

He is working to develop Pediatric Emergency Medicine Short Courses at National Level, conceptualizing Triage Concept in Pediatric EDs at National Level EM conference/ Workshop (2015-16) Mastering and Developing Pediatric Simulation.
